A CONCERT in memory of a talented young musician and former university student will be held on Saturday.
Benjamin Pedley, who was a second year Chemistry student at the University of Reading, died after a road traffic accident on March 20.
He was cycling on Church Road and collided with a pedestrian, causing him to hit his head on the concrete.
A concert of remembrance will be held in the Great Hall at the London Road campus from 7.30pm.
Pedley - a talented pianist - was taken to the major head trauma unit of John Radcliffe Hospital, but he sadly died two days later.
The first half of the performance will feature a diverse range of music which hold a special meaning to the former university student.
Guests can also expect a performance of Karl Jenkins: The Armed Man, A Mass for Peace.
