HUNDREDS of fans who were unable to grab a ticket for this year's Reading Festival were left disappointed when Saturday headliner Kendrick Lamar refused to let the performance be televised.
The Grammy award-winning rapper rounded-off a spectacular show on the second day at Richfield Avenue.
And the 80,000 revellers who were fortunate enough to get into the festival had all the more reason to smile, as they were in the best position to capture his set.
Lamar returned to Reading for the second time in four years and brought back memories of his Sunday Main Stage performance in 2015.
As well as preventing the TV cameras from broadcasting his show, Lamar did not allow photographers to get involved, making it very hard for anyone who was not at the festival to get a sense of the incredible atmosphere.
Fans reacted throughout the night on social media when they discovered they would not be able to watch highlights.
Here is how some of the fans reacted to the news:
@kendricklamar Absolutely gutted. Waited all night to watch you on Reading festival @BBCR1 to find out you do not want it to be telivised. #dramaqueen #disappointed #wasteoftime.

It angers me when I see people complaining about the Reading line up, when I'm still sad that Kendrick Lamar was there and that I've missed him. In terms of the current music industry, you don't get much better than Kendrick Lamar! #KendrickLamar #Readingfestival2018

I went from listening to Kendrick Lamar’s early mixtapes with friends 7 years ago when he had no following in England to now seeing him headline Reading festival and have over 70,000 ppl know all the words to his music. Unbelievable growth. We were also front row👀 @kendricklamar pic.twitter.com/dBjs06TGOY
