A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after his scooter and a car crashed into each other in Reading.
The man, who is in his twenties, was riding a 125cc Yamaha X-Max scooter on Wokingham Road when he was involved with a crash with a black VW Polo.
It happened close to the junction with St Bartholomews Road at around 10.45pm on Thursday (September 10).
The scooter rider was rushed to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with a serious arm injury and chest injuries.
The two people inside the car were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Investigating officer PC Matt Woollams-Seeney, of the Roads Policing Unit at Three Miles Cross, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was driving in the area at the time of the incident to check their dash-cam footage and get in touch if they can help with my investigation."
A South Central Ambulance Service spokesman said one of their ambulance crews came across the crash and radioed the control room to say they were stopping to help.
A paramedic team leader in a rapid response vehicle was also sent to assist.
