A WOMAN has been arrested following a racially-aggravated incident in the centre of Reading yesterday.
Police were called to Broad Street Mall on the Oxford Road just after 3pm on Sunday, July 4 following reports of an incident outside the shopping centre.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “Thames Valley Police was called at around 3.05pm yesterday (4/7) to reports of a public order incident outside Broad Street Mall, Reading.
“Officers attended and a 36-year-old woman from Reading was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated public order and remains in custody.”

Pictures circulating on social media showed three police vehicles at the scene.
