"This is for some work to extend the beer garden, plus some upgrading to the bar and kitchen areas."
Back of Beyond was recently criticised on Tripadvisor for not informing customers online or on social media.
One person said: "If only Wetherspoons had a decent website, or did social media.
"Although I checked the website in advance, it wasn't until I arrived at the pub there was any notice of the kitchen being closed for refurbishment."
At least the pub inside will look upgraded for customers when they return.
