A HAMPSHIRE man has been charged following the reported stabbing of an 18-year-old woman in Reading last week.
George Hassall, of Harts Lane, Burghclere, was charged with wounding with intent last week.
This comes in relation to an incident in Coley Park, Reading, on Wednesday, November 24 where an 18-year-old woman was taken to hospital following a reported stabbing just after 2pm.

Air Ambulance crews and South Central Ambulance Service teams attended the scene, where the woman was treated before she was rushed to hospital.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said her injuries were not life-threatening and she was discharged from hospital on Thursday, November 25.

The suspect was remanded in custody following the incident and was later charged with section 18 wounding with intent.
Hassall, 22, was remanded in custody at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Friday (26/11).
He is next due to appear before a judge at Reading Crown Court on 7 January 2022.
