Details of a barn fire near Reading have been confirmed following the emergence of dramatic pictures this morning.
Straw inside an Arborfield barn in Swallowfield Road spread a fire through the structure yesterday (Thursday), though the cause is unknown.
Firefighters were called at 5.40pm and used two jets to extinguish the blaze.

A crew and one police officer then remained on the scene to manage a controlled burn of remaining straw.
Crews were on the scene for approximately two hours and 20 minutes, before returning for a re-inspection.
