Reading Festival is set to be the joint-second warmest music festival this year, according to recent research.
Event discovery platform Skiddle have analysed the weather from the last five festivals and have predicted the weather for major festivals across the UK in 2022.
The famous event in Berkshire takes place on August Bank Holiday every year and is expected to see average temperatures of 19 degrees.
Just one hour of rainfall is expected across the weekend, joint second lowest amongst those predicted
In comparison, Reading’s sister festival in Leeds have been predicted temperatures of 16 degrees over the same weekend.
BST Hyde Park is expected to see the hottest temperatures, with an average of 24 degrees and under an hour of rainfall over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Terminal V in Edinburgh is expected to see just eight degrees.
The wettest festival is set to be Boardmasters in Cornwall, with more than four hours of rainfall predicted across the weekend in August.
