A stolen car was stopped by police after officers saw the vehicle speeding.
The Volkswagen was intercepted by police in a car park of an eating establishment.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: "The driver of this car was stopped in the car park of an esteemed sausage roll selling establishment in Reading after being spotted driving too fast.
"On speaking to the driver, and checking out the car, it turned out that it was stolen earlier in the day.
"The driver gave false details (seems to be a theme developing) but was arrested for, theft of motor vehicle, no insurance, no licence, and obstruct Police.
"No more porkie pies or sausage rolls for this master crim."
