Thousands of people across the country have experienced the worst bout of flooding in decades over the last week.
As the water begins to find itself back into the River Thames we can look back in amazement at what Reading was forced to deal with during the floods.
Due to the proximity of the River Thames and rivers that branch off it, many communities that were built on flood plains are forced to deal with flooding to some extent during the winter months.
This includes Caversham, Purley, and to some extent Winnersh.
Both Fly Sky Drones UK and DWK Drones took to the skies to capture the dramatic flooding that plagued these neighborhoods.
Check out the incredible shots that they captured from the skies last weekend when the water level reached its highest levels since 1947.
This surpassed the 2003 flooding by 60mm.
