POSITIVE signs in the housing market are prompting new estate agents to set up.
Last month Caversham agent Simon Walmsley expanded and now, following the launch of Mullie at Ipsden and David Cliff, in Wokingham, new agency Arin has been set up at Cemetery Junction by Alan Field and Richard Broomes, formerly with Romans and Prospect, respectively.
Their business hit the ground running with four sales in quick succession. Alan and Richard make sure they are available out of hours and Richard has taken enquiries as early as 7.30am and as late as 10pm.
Richard said: "The biggest compliment is people say our service is absolutely superb because we will speak to them at any time. We are contactable any time of the day because it is our own business."
They also offer sellers same day online feedback on their houses from potential buyers.
They decided what services to offer after Alan sold his own house through another agent and made a detailed report on the agent's performance.
Richard added: "We offer a personal service and all the features that come with that. We are doing the things people always expect but never get. We are always prepared to go the extra yard."
