A BODY pulled from the River Thames at Wargrave yesterday is thought to be that of missing pensioner Franciscus Van De Gender, police say.
Mr Van De Gender, known as Franz, went missing from his home in Woodley at 9am on November 23 and officers found his Ford Escort abandoned on a towpath in Sonning just hours later.
The coroner has yet to formally identify the body - discovered at 3.30pm - but the pensioner's family have been informed.
