The manager and a member of door staff from the Sugar Lounge in St Mary’s Butts were sentenced along with one another man for dealing cocaine at the bar.
Rob Le Croix, 44, admitted to five counts in relation to the supply of drugs at the “Gentleman’s Club” he managed and Kim Jones, a 43-year-old member of door staff at the bar, also admitted to one charge.
Jones, of Caversham, was sentenced to two years imprisonment suspended for two years and 150 hours community at Reading Crown Court last Friday.
She earlier admitted to one count of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
Le Croix and another man Richard Bancroft were sentenced at the same court on April 27 for their part in the dealings.
Bancroft, of Underwood Road, was found guilty of conspiracy to supply a class A drug and possession with intent to supply following a five-day trial.
He was sentenced to seven years and six months for each of the charges, running concurrently.
Le Croix admitted to five charges which were conspiring to supply a class A drug (cocaine), three counts of supplying cocaine and one count of possessing cocaine with intent to supply.
He was ordered to serve five years for each count, to run concurrently.
All charges were for offences said to have taken place at the Sugar Lounge between January 11 and July 9 last year.
Det Insp Nick Watts, said: “This investigation was focused around a group of people supplying class A drugs from within a licensed premise, the Sugar Lounge.
“Le Croix was the manager and Kim Jones a member of door staff. It is a significant conviction and the police welcome the sentences passed by the court and hope this will act as deterrent and send a message that officers will deal robustly with anyone involved in drug dealing.”
