A MAN suffered serious head injuries after a car crash in Lower Earley yesterday (Wednesday).
The man, believed to be in his 60s, was the sole passenger in a Birkin kit car which was in collision with a tree after it left the road on Lower Earley Way at 3pm.
He was airlifted to Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital where he is in a serious condition.
Officers closed the road between Rushey Way and Meldreth Way for more than three hours while crash investigators accessed the scene.
