A CREATIVE arts charity perked up sick youngsters with music and melodies last month.
Create is continuing its ArtsAdventures programme, which offers interactive activities and sounds, and visited children at Reading's Royal Berkshire Hospital, where youngsters engaged with different instruments, creating original sounds, melodies and tunes.
The charity's co-founder and chief executive, Nicky Goulder, said: “I am delighted that we have been able to take ArtsAdventures to Berkshire and beyond.
"It enables the children to explore their creativity and grow in self-confidence, as well as distracting them from their illnesses and disabilities. We want them to be able to have fun together at a difficult time in their life. It is our huge privilege to give them this opportunity.”
