Reading loanee Zane Monlouis has been called up to a training camp with Jamaica Under-23s despite featuring for just five minutes since moving in January.

The 20-year-old defender joined the Royals on loan from Arsenal, where he was captain of Mehmet Ali's Under-21s outfit.

Involved in five matchday squads, the defender came off the bench for the final five minutes of the Royals' 1-1 draw at Fleetwood Town.

Not even making the squad in the last five fixtures, the promising talent has represented England at Under-15s and Under-17s level but has switched to Jamaica for an Under-23s camp.

Fellow young Royal Jahmari Clarke is already a regular for the young Reggae Boyz side.

He joins Charlie Savage [Wales], Basil Tuma [Malta Under-23s], Jeriel Dorsett [Montserrat], Tivonge Rushesha [Zimbabwe] and Tyler Bindon [New Zealand] in linking up with national teams over the coming 10 days before Reading return to action against Northampton Town on Good Friday.
