READING FC have once again been linked with a swoop for Barnsley FC striker Tom Bradshaw.
The Welsh International was mentioned as a possible target for former Royals boss Jaap Stam last summer when the Dutchman made signing a striker one of his top priorities.
Bradshaw, who has netted 12 goals for relegation-threatened Tykes this season, has reportedly been told he can leave Oakwell this summer.
Reports suggest Royals will go back in for the striker when the transfer window opens in May.
The 25-year-old enjoyed a profilic start to the season, but his goal-scoring form soon dried up.
In fact, he has only notched two goals in his last 18 appearances for Barnsley.
Reading boss Clement previously kept his cards close to his chest regarding summer activity, insisting he had not thought about potential signings.
He stressed: "We have time to deal with that. The window isn't open yet and it doesn’t shut until the end of August, so there is time to address that, we have to priorities.”
The 47-year-old stated he has not held discussions with the club's Chinese owners over this summer's transfer budget.
Clement will face questions from the media once again later this afternoon and will be quizzed on Bradshaw.
