A man who handled a stolen van has been handed a community sentence.
Thomas McDonagh, 30, of Hughenden Road, High Wycombe, appeared before High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on May 2.
This was in connection with an incident on December 8 last year.
McDonagh was caught handling a Peugeot Boxer van which had been reported stolen.
He pleaded guilty to a single charge of handling stolen goods.
In light of this, magistrates gave him a community order.
McDonagh will have to complete a 30-day programme requirement and up to 20 rehabilitation activity days.
In addition, he will have to pay a £120 fine, and £85 in court costs.
