ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 WOKINGHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL (A3290, EARLEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING! ORDER 2016 NOTICE IS HEREBY given that Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority proposes to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along A3290 alpha and bravo between its junctions with A4 London Road and Wharfdale Road. NOTICE IS HEREBY given that Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority proposes to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along A3290 alpha and bravo between its junctions with A4 London Road and Wharfdale Road. The reason forthis prohibition is to enable Wokingham
Borough Contractors to undertake structural
maintenance works in safety.
The alternative route for all vehicles affected by the
restrictions will be via: Vehicles Travelling Northbound - A329, B3350 and
A4 London Road
Vehicles Travelling Southbound - A4 London Road,
Reading Road, Headley Road, Miles Way, The Bader
Way.
The Order will come into operation on 22nd February 2016 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works have been
completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated
that these works will be completed overnight between
the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 on the 22nd 23rd and 24th February
