Wokingham Borough Council Road Traffic Regulation
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
WOKINGHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL (A321 WARGRAVE ROAD, WARGRAVE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that on the 1st August 2016 Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority made the above-named Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along A321 Wargrave Road between its junctions with Braybrook Road and A4 Bath Road.
The reason for this restriction is to enable resurfacing works to be undertaken in safety.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this restriction will be via A4 New Bath Road, B477 Mumberry Hill, and School Lane or by this route reversed.
Access to properties located within the boundary of the closure will be maintained where possible.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
The Order will come into operation on 8th day of August 2016 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is expected that that the closure will be undertaken overnight, during the hours of 8pm to 6am, and it is anticipated that all the works will be completed
by 16th August.
