Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Wokingham Borough Winnersh and Earley

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 WOKINGHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL (A3290, WINNERSH AND EARLEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, 30 MPH AND 50 MPH SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority proposes to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) and 14(4) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to introduce the following temporary restriction;
1. Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the A3290 Bravo ((Thames Valley Park bound) between its junctions with the northbound off slip to the A4 and the northbound on slip from the A4.

2. Prohibit any person from driving any motor vehicle exceeding 30 miles per hour along in any direction between Thames Valley Park Drive and the tops of the northbound off slip to the A4 and northbound on slip from the A4.

3. Prohibit any person from driving any motor vehicle exceeding 50 miles per hour along A3290, Winnersh and Earley in both directions between its junctions with the tops of the northbound off slip to the A4 and northbound on slip from the A4 to a point 500m south.

The reason for this restriction is to allow Wokingham Borough Council contractors to undertake repairs in safety.
The restriction will only be in effect whilst the necessary signs are lawfully displayed.
The Order will come into operation on the 26th day of March 2016 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the restriction will be in place between 26th March 2016 and 17th April 2016
