WOKINGHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL
(PADDOCK HEIGHTS, TWYFORD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2016

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority proposes to make an order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Paddock Heights, Twyford between its junctions with B3018 Waltham Road and A321 Hurst Road.

The reason for this restriction is to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken in safety

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this restriction will be via A321 Hurst Road and B3018 Waltham Road or by this route reversed.
The restrictions shall only be in place whilst the necessary traffic signs are lawfully displayed. Access to properties located within the boundary of the closure will be maintained where possible.

The Order will come into operation on 9th of May 2016 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that these works will be completed by 13th of May 2016.
