ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 WOKINGHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL (A3032 OLD BATH ROAD, TWYFORD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority proposes to make an order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along A3032 Old Bath Road (White Bridge) between the access road to the Wagon and Horses pub and the entrance to Whitebridge industial Estate.
The reason for this prohibition is to enable bridge strengthening and refurbishment works in safety.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this restriction will be via A321 Wargrave Road, New Bath Road, A3032 Old Bath Road or by this route reversed.
The Order will come into operation on 23rd May 2016 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be completed by 25th July 2016.
