WOKINGHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL (KIRTONS FARM ROAD, GRAZELEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 WOKINGHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL (KIRTONS FARM ROAD, GRAZELEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that on the 18th June 2016 Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority made the above-named Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Kirtons Farm Road between its junctions with Smallmead and Pingewood Road South.
The reason for this restriction is to enable carriageway repairs to be undertaken in safety.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this restriction will be via Pingewood Road South, Amners Farm Road, Burghfield Road, Berrys Lane and Kirtons Farm Road or by this route reversed.
Access to properties located within the boundary of the closure will be maintained where possible.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are lawfully displayed in the road.
The Order will come into operation on the 31st day of July 2016 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be completed on three consecutive Sundays
beginning 31st July 2016.
