ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 WOKINGHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL (B477 SCHOOL LANE, WARGRAVE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that on the 31st August 2016 Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("The Act") and all other enabling powers the effect of which is to continue in force restrictions contained in a Notice under
Section 14 (2) of the Act dated 30th August
2016 prohibiting any vehicle over 6'6" in width from turning right from B477 School Lane into A321 High Street, Wargrave. The reason for this prohibition is to enable building work requiring scaffolding to be undertaken in safely.
The alternative route for all vehicles affected by this restriction shall be via A321 High Street (southern section), A321 Wargrave Road (southern section), A4 New Bath Road/A321 Wargrave Road roundabout A321 Wargrave (southern section) and A321 High Street (southern section).
The restrictions shall only apply during those periods when traffic signs in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 are lawfully displayed in the said roads.
The Order shall come into force on the 2nd day of September 2016 and shall continue if force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is however expected that work requiring this restriction will be completed by
30th September 2016.
