A SHOCKING image has been shared showing the aftermath of a crash on the M4 motorway.
A tired lorry driver fell asleep at the wheel on the motorway near Slough on Monday, August 29.
Police were called to the incident when the lorry veered across three lanes and crashed into a lamp post.
An image shows the lampost smashed into the side of the lorry.
Thames Valley Police said: "Dont drive tired. He was lucky enough to wake up to face the consequences! At the first sign of tiredness, stop and take a break."
