WHITBY George Henry Passed away at Riverview Care Home on 16th February 2018 aged 90 years. Much loved dad, gramps and great grandad. Funeral service to be held at Reading Crematorium, South Chapel on Thursday 8th March at 1pm. Always remember George sitting in his lounge watching all the comings and goings in the close. I would often wave and always got a wave back. My memories go back to early childhood, to the fish pond, the gorgeous Dalmations and George in his boy scout uniform. We should cherish the memories of large personalities such as George's and be thankful for their view of life lest we become grey and accepting clones of a stale society. Sleep well old man.
