Hageman Romana Passed away peacefully at home on 2nd March 2018 Much loved wife of Daniel, sister of Nabeel, Rameez and Rial, daughter to Yasmin Sheikh. Will be sadly missed by family and friends. Funeral service held at Reading Crematorium, South Chapel on Friday 23rd March 2018 at 1.45pm Flowers or donations made payable to Stroke Association send to Miles & Daughters Independent Funeral Directors, 157-161 Caversham Road, Reading, RG1 8BB

Romana and I hadn’t seen oneanother in almost 15 years but I never stopped thinking of her and the deep connection & friendship we shared. We laughed so much through all the good and bad times. She was my ‘rock’ and I was her ‘star’ as she often referred to me. I’ve always felt that the last words we exchanged were too harsh and after that there was no going back. Just memories that I’ve often shared with my 3 sons who love to hear about mummy’s old friend. I’ve never stopped thinking of Romana and wish I had been brave enough to apologise in life. When my son was born in 2006 I wanted to share the moment with her and made an attempt at contact but she was still hurt and angry. I understand... and everyday I punish myself for losing this amazing, beautiful, energetic, funny, intelligent friend - my best friend, my sister.
I miss you so much Romana ❤️.
