MARSH Rosina Emily Passed away peacefully at Brendoncare Home, Alton on Wednesday 18th August 2021 aged 86 years. Rosina was much loved and will be greatly missed by her family, Godchildren and friends. No flowers please but donations in memory of Rosina to Brendoncare Foundation c/o Reading Co-op Funeralcare or via https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/SomeoneSpecial/RosinaMarsh Funeral Service at Church of St James, Forbury, Reading on Thursday 9th September at 1.30 pm followed by committal at Henley Road Cemetery Reading. All friends welcome to attend the funeral service but family and close friends only at the committal.

Just yesterday, I was going through photographs that my father, Clifford Metcalf, had left for me after he died in 2003. I found an old photo of Rosina with Myra Jones. Rosina has always been a treasurer person and memory in my life because when my brother and I were very young, Rosina was our babysitter. I have often regretted what brats we were and wondered how she possibly put up with us. I was drawn to look up her name and came across this obituary. Unfortunately, I will never be able to tell her how much I liked her and what a saint she was but hopefully she is listening as she looks after many cherubs in the beautiful beyond.
