KILLGALLON Geoffrey Passed away at home in Caversham on Thursday 3rd February 2022, aged 82 years. He had endured a long progressive disease for the past 8 years with a steadfast resolve to battle on. He will be fondly and lovingly remembered. Geoffrey is survived by his two Sons, Steven Longstaff of Dorset and Paul Killgallon of Cheshire; 5 Grandchildren, Mathew, Ellie and Freddie, Noah and Freya; brother John Dennis Killgallon of Yorkshire. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Sylvia Killgallon and daughter Dawn Hughes. Funeral service to be held at Reading Crematorium West Chapel on Thursday 3rd March at 12.00pm. Family flowers only please. Sign in to add a tributeI got to know Jeff through the Caversham Good Neighbours scheme- he was one of my favourite passengers., we regularly shopped together in Lidl! Sharing our latest impulse buys and cooking tips!
Although I hadn’t seen Jeff for at least two years, I always thought about him when I passed his house.
We enjoyed lots of funny tales and jokes together, - always the perfect gentleman, polite and kind, delightful company indeed.
He bore his illness with great fortitude, never complaining and always thinking of others first.
It was an honour to have known such a special, brave man, who will be missed by us all
