RATTO Alfonso Passed away peacefully on Thursday 26th January 2023, aged 92 years. Alfonso lived in Reading for the best part of 60 years and was well known in the town having worked as a barber until his retirement 20 years ago. During this time, he had barber shops at various locations in Oxford Road, Castle Street, Caversham, Pangbourne, Wargrave and Henley and would often use his skills to raise money for charity. Alfonso remained very active, still playing bowls until 6 weeks prior to his passing. He will be missed by many. Requiem Mass will take place at St William of York Roman Catholic Church on Friday 17th February at 10.30 am. Family flowers only please.
