TONG Mary Joanna (née Hurst) Died peacefully in Minehead on 25th January 2024 aged 79. Beloved wife of Daniel and mother to James, Lucy, William and Alexander and grandmother to her eight grandchildren. Trained at the Nightingale Nursing School, she devoted herself to the care of others, finishing her career running a residential and nursing home for the RMBI at Sindlesham, Berkshire. She is dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial service to be held at St John's Church, Kidmore End, on Monday 23rd September at 1:30p.m. Donations, if desired, to Save the Children.
