PALMER Brian Godfrey Died peacefully on 1st September 2024, aged 91 years. Emeritus Professor of Education at the University of Reading. Beloved husband of Joyce (d.2003) and partner of Michèle (d.2014), father to Catherine, John and Michael, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Brian will be remembered at Easthampstead Park Crematorium, Wokingham, RG40 3DW on 24th September 2024 at 14:00. Dress smart casual, with black not required. No flowers please. Brian worked with my husband, Mike, from 1973 until Brian retired. They were great friends and colleagues. Later, when non teaching staff joined the retired group, Brian always looked for Mike because we both have sight problems. He knew we’d look out for him and sit with him while others moved about.
