A LORRY carrying more than 20 tonnes of paper caught fire on M4 this afternoon
The alarm was raised at around 3.35pm after the engine of the lorry burst into flames while it was travelling eastbound on the M4 between junctions 12 and 13.
Firefighters from Newbury and Dee Road Fire Stations rushed to the scene to find the lorry, which was carrying 23 tonnes of paper, had pulled up on the hard shoulder.
None of the lanes were closed and it is believed no one was injured.
