READING FC favourite Ali Al-Habsi dished out scrumptious sweets and warming scarves to celebrate national Oman day yesterday.
The Omani shot-stopper organised the event in Broad Street, Reading, along with compatriots from the University of Reading.
The 34-year-old spent the afternoon handing out gifts to star-struck residents and posing for photographs.
Today marks the birthday of the Sultan of Oman, Qaboo bin Said, and is also a commemoration of the country's independence from Portugal in 1650.
