TWO drivers had to be cut free from their vehicles after a serious road collision in the town yesterday.
At around 5.45am yesterday (December 22), a red Peugot 306 travelling towards Tadley and a grey Peugot 5008 going towards Reading collided in Goring Lane.
Both drivers are now in hospital receiving treatment for their injuries after being cut free from their cars by emergency responders.
Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision which occurred on Goring Lane, Mortimer, between the junctions of Lockram Lane and Man's Hill.
