A SERIOUS collision between two vehicles on the A33 saw a man taken to hospital.
At around 6.40pm on Saturday, February 11 the ambulance service and fire crews from Wokingham Road and Whitley Wood rushed to the scene on the M4.
Darren Barrett, watch manager from Wokingham Road Fire Station, said the crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to free one man from a car.
A spokeswoman for South Central Ambulance Service said they sent one ambulance and one crew to the scene, just off junction 11.
"Four people were assessed at the scene," she said. "One of which was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital."
