AN appeal for information has been issued following the disappearance of an elderly man from Shiplake.
Frederick Lawson, who is 82, was last seen in Shiplake on Wednesday morning.
He was last seen wearing trousers, a sweatshirt, possibly a blue jacket and wellington boots. A previous appeal said that he was wearing brown slippers.
He is described as slim, 5ft 10ins, with blue eyes and grey hair.
There are fears that he may have fallen into the river.
The National Police Air Service (NPAS) Benson tweeted shortly after 12pm that it had been assisting Thames Valley Police in its search of the area.
We’ve been out assisting @tvpsouthandvale along with the Fire & Rescue service in #Henley after a man may have fallen into the river. If your house borders the river between Henley and Shiplake please check your shoreline #p1526
