COMPETITIVE video gaming is coming to Reading at the weekend.
Players of Counter-Strike Global Offensive have the chance to use their skills in order to win money at Grosvenor Casino on Sunday August 19.
The E-Sports industry is set to be worth more than £1.8bn in the next two years, and clearly, Grosvenor Casino is getting in on the trend.
Gamers have the chance to win £750 on the day, and a place in the grand final later in the year, the winner of that will get £3,000.
Jay Pillai, General Manager at Grosvenor Casino Reading South said: “eSports has had unprecedented levels of success recently, and we’re delighted to team up with epic:LAN to offer our guests a day of challenges and surprises they won’t forget.

Teams can be signed up by visitingGrosvenor.epiclan.net, and admission is £10 per person, entrants must be 18 or over and have photo ID.
