FOOTBALL fans are believed to have shouted racist chants and carried out sexual assaults on a train from London Paddington.
Passengers are being urged to come forward after an incident on December 22 involving around 20 fans.
The group, believed to be Chelsea fans, boarded the service at 6.22pm from London and started to chant racially abusive comments in front of families and children.
A number of women were sexually assaulted on board the Great Western Service.
The group, who were all men, left the train at Worcester.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened to get in touch so they can assist the investigation.
In particular, they believe a number of women who were sexually assaulted are yet to come forward and they would like to encourage them to do so.
