Earley Volunteer Driver Bureau receives funding boost
A VOLUNTARY service providing vital transport for elderly people has received a donation of £600.
Earley Volunteer Driver Bureau (EVDB) was chosen by Erlegh Lodge Masons from a range of worthy causes in the area.
The team were invited to Sindlesham Court and were presented with the funds.
Chairman Elaine Spratling and secretary Mary Blustin represented EVDB and they enjoyed a meal and entertainment.
The service hopes to use the donation to purchase another laptop, which would help to co-ordinate trips for people with restricted mobility
EVDB is extremely grateful to the Masons for this generous donation, which will help to improve the service.
