RESIDENTS have expressed their fear and shock following a man being taken to hospital after he was stabbed by three people in Tilehurst.
The incident happened on Thursday, June 27 at around 2.11pm as police received reports that a man had been assaulted outside a set of shops on The Meadway.
Following the incident residents nearby have been left feeling shocked and scared to leave the house.

One resident, said: “We are shocked and now very scared to leave the house.”
Another resident who has lived in the area for over 10 years said that he will never leave the house at night.
He added: “I don’t go out at night to the shops and I wouldn’t let my wife or daughter go either because you are inviting a problem to happen.”
Another women who lives nearby expressed her shock and said she has never seen anything like this happen in the time she has lived in the area.
A police spokesman said: "An extensive investigation is underway to locate the three offenders who were seen at the scene.”
A police manhunt is now under way to find the people who stabbed him.
It is not yet known if any arrests have been made and police have not confirmed the condition of the victim.
The age of the victim has also not been confirmed.
