MOTORISTS sat in nine-miles of queues this morning after a breakdown on the M4 motorway caused traffic to be at a standstill.
One car broke down on the eastbound carriageway between junction 10 at Wokingham and junction 8/9 at Maidenhead.
The breakdown meant one lane had to be closed.
Drivers also faced queues on roads leading onto the motorway.
