The Prince and the Pauper

Where: The Watermill Theatre, Bagnor, Newbury, RG20 8AE.

When: November 14, 2019 to January 4, 2020.

Plot: The Prince is bored of his royal life with endless parties, rules and grown-ups. Meanwhile, in the busy streets of London, a young girl who loves to dance and play music dreams of escaping her life to perform for the finest people in the city.

Sleeping Beauty

Reading Chronicle: Sleeping Beauty Sleeping Beauty

Where: The Corn Exchange, Market Place, Newbury, RG14 5BD.

When: November 29, 2019 to January 4, 2020.

Plot: Filled with jealousy, the evil witch, Maleficent, curses Princess Aurora to die on her 16th birthday. With help from her guardian fairies, Aurora falls into a deep sleep instead that can only be ended with a kiss from her true love. The show is full of songs to sing along to, with dance routines, magic and sparkle.

Cinderella with CBeebies star, Justin Fletcher

Where: The Hexagon, Queen's Walk, Reading, RG1 7UA.

When: December 7, 2019 to January 5, 2020.

Plot: CBeebies star, Justin Fletcher, is back to perform in this year's pantomime. Will the Wicked Stepsisters succeed in ruining Cinderella's dreams of happiness or will her Fairy Godmother and loyal friend Buttons be able to thwart their wicked plans?

Aladdin with Basil Brush

Where: Theatre Royal Windsor, Thames Street, Windsor, SL4 1PS.

When: November 29, 2019 to January 12, 2020.

Plot: Street rat Aladdin frees a Genie from a lamp and is granted three wishes. But baddie, Paul Nicholas, has other plans. Join the stars of the show on their magic carpet ride! Expect dazzling dancers, colourful costumes and a glittering cast including Basil Brush!

Aladdin

Where: South Hill Park, Ringmead, Bracknell, RG12 7PA.

When: November 29, 2019 to January 4, 2020.

Plot: Will Aladdin and his magical lamp defeat the forces of evil? Will the princess and Aladdin find true love? Will all of Aladdin’s wishes comes true? Join a host of colourful characters on a magical carpet ride to the Wilde Theatre this Christmas.

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

Where: The Curve, 10 Wellington Street, Slough.

When: December 13 to December 23.

Plot: Follow Dorothy and her new friends; Scarecrow, Tinman and The Lion along the yellow brick road as they try to defeat the Wicked Witch of the West. Expect plenty of audience participation, high energy dancing, bundles of comedy and fantastic costumes.

Snow White

Where: Pearce Suite Theatre, Magnet Leisure Centre, Holmanleaze, Maidenhead, SL6 8AW.

When: December 21 to December 29.

Plot: A magic mirror, poison apple and a handsome Prince, with seven friends on hand to mix it together. Packed with all the traditional pantomime ingredients (plus a few twists!), charming animated scenery, sensational songs, delightful costumes, plenty of audience participation and belly laughing comedy.

Dick Whittington

Where: Desborough Theatre, Maidenhead Town Hall, St Ives Road, Maidenhead, SL6 1RF.

When: December 11 to December 15.

Plot: Dick travels to London to seek his fortune but is met on the way by the evil King Rat who is looking to thwart Dick’s plans and take over London and then the world.

The Bear

Where: Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, Altwood Road, Maidenhead, SL4 6PF.

When: November 26 to December 29.

Plot: The story of a little girl who befriends a mischievous polar bear, this playful, funny and heart-warming tale is one of imagination and growing up.
