A WOMAN stumbled to the floor after a man crept up from behind on a bike and tried to take her handbag.
At 12.40am on October 27 a woman in her 20s was walking away from the Reading town centre when she was approached from behind by a man on a bike.
The thief pulled her handbag off her shoulder which made the woman lose her balance and fall over.
Thankfully, she was not injured.

The man is described to be slim, around 5ft 10 inches tall.
He was wearing a black hoodie and was riding a bicycle, which looks similar to a mountain bike.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following the robbery in Northumberland Avenue in Reading.
Detective Constable Dennis Hicks, based at Reading police station, said: "I am appealing to anyone who may have seen the incident to please come forward.
"I am particularly interested in speaking with a taxi driver that passed by the victim immediately after the incident and may have witnessed the offence or may have seen the cyclist.

"Anyone with information can contact police on the non-emergency number 101 or make a report online quoting reference number 43190334446.
"Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
Thames Valley Police have been contacted to confirm whether the handbag was taken or not.
