A VAN driver who tried to shake off the police by hiding under a bed has been caught out and arrested.
Thames Valley Police Roads Policing team said they spotted the driver in Kings Meadow, Reading, doing 'doughnuts' yesterday.

When officers attempted to speak to the driver they reportedly drove off in the van at speed and turned their lights off to evade capture.

But police officers said they found the van parked up just a few minutes later and raided the nearby home.
The driver was found hiding under the bed inside and swiftly arrested by officers from the roads policing team.

Tweeting about the incident officers ended their post online with #peekaboo.
