Manager Louise Trott said: "Due to the success of the Crucible Sports and Social Club in Newbury we are launching the Crucible Sports and Social club Reading. "Given the lack of clubs currently providing facilities in Reading, we believe the new club would help to reignite the interest in cue sports once again in the area.
"We will have a dart area, 14 pool tables and eight snooker tables - one of which will be in its very own match room and used by Stephen Hendry!"
The club will include two meeting rooms which will be available to hire, a coffee area a Costa cafe.
Hot and cold food will be served all day, along with a fully licensed bar.
"We will also be hosting regular social nights throughout the year," Ms Trott added.
"We are aiming to be open in December but have our official opening night with Ronnie O'Sullivan on January 4, 2020.
"This will be a ticketed event and more details to be released shortly.
"I am very excited to welcome all of the local players and teams."
