THE Reading to London train route has been named as one of the most expensive in the country.
New research by driving insurance company Veygo has placed the commuter journey third in a list of the top 10 most expensive commutes to London, behind only Milton Keynes and Oxford.

Data has been analysed to find out the cost of commuting around the UK, in both a car and on the train, to reveal the most expensive rail commutes.
The research also looks at the price difference between driving and rail for the UK's most popular commuter routes.
After Reading, Luton, Chelmsford, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Harlow, Guildford and March, Cambridgeshire.
