A DEVOTED Woodley mother is in the midst of a challenge she set herself to run three miles for 100 days to raise money for her son's school.
Katherine Cox decided on her son Ben's sixth birthday that, because there were 100 days left of the year, she would raise money by running every day for the rest of 2019.

Funds will go towards Woodley's Willow Banks School, in Duffield Road.
Ms Coz said: "In a time of squeezed school budgets, ever increasing teacher work load and pressure, and growing class sizes, Willow Bank works tirelessly to find time and resources to allow all its pupils to shine.
"It supports students, and their families, with additional needs, those who have been in the care system and had adverse early years experiences, those who come from a range of home backgrounds as well as your regular primary school pupil.
"We are so lucky to have such a supportive and committed school in our local community.
"It is a school where academic achievement is as highly valued as the child's well being, and they work so hard to ensure they have happy pupils, knowing that a happy child is one who can learn."
She added that she set herself the challenge as a way of saying thank you to the staff, and plans to run in all weather, every day - including Christmas.
To assist with the fund raising, local Castle Royle Golf and Country Club has offered free guest passes to anyone who donates.
Anyone who gives £10 will receive a one day pass (worth £20); £20 donations will get a two day pass (worth £40); £50 donations will receive a one week pass (worth £140) and a donation of £100 will result in a two week pass (worth £280).
"All anyone who wants to donate and receive a pass has to do is write "Castle Royle" in the comments section of the donation page online and their pass will be waiting for them at the health club," said Ms Cox.
