A CINEMA in Reading has celebrated its 20th birthday.
The Vue marked the special occasion with a celebratory cake cut by Deputy General Manager Jasdeep Munjal with staff from the venue.
The eleven-screen cinema was first opened as part of The Oracle Centre in November 1999.
It has 1,800 seats and has seen hundreds of thousands of film fans come through the doors since opening.
Rohin Hamedi, General Manager at Vue Reading, said: “It’s incredible to mark such a significant milestone after what has been a great twenty years.

"The team and I love welcoming people to enjoy the best in big screen entertainment with us.
“We aren’t just looking to the past however, and with lots more fantastic films like Cats, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and Bond 25 coming over the next few months along with some fantastic Big Screen Events, there’s something for everyone to come and enjoy with us in our anniversary year.”
