A CINEMA in Reading has celebrated its 20th birthday.

The Vue marked the special occasion with a celebratory cake cut by Deputy General Manager Jasdeep Munjal with staff from the venue.

The eleven-screen cinema was first opened as part of The Oracle Centre in November 1999.

It has 1,800 seats and has seen hundreds of thousands of film fans come through the doors since opening.

Rohin Hamedi, General Manager at Vue Reading, said: “It’s incredible to mark such a significant milestone after what has been a great twenty years.
